A somewhat humorous ethno ensemble that sounds as if it were played by a tipsy Moondog or a sun-rah on vacation. Interweaving handpans, mouth harp, darbouka, tampura, and other instruments into the band, Condor Gruppe, a nine-member musical collective based in Antwerpen, Belgium, pays homage to the cult Italian movie soundtracks of the 1970s, Krautrock, and invites the listener on a hypnotic trip. The band invites the listener to a hypnotic trip. The result is a fusion of Pink Floyd's melancholy, Ennio Morricone's heroism, and GOAT's world groove!
