After making a big splash in the electronic music world with his debut album "Utility" (released on Berghain's Ostgut Ton label), Barker's new album is now available on Smalltown Supersound. Utility" was named to many media's Best Albums of 2019 lists, including Pitchfork (with a high 8.2 rating), The Quietus, DJ Mag, Resident Advisor (Recommends), and Mixmag's "Best Albums of 2019 " by Mixmag. The album is a further step forward from the approach taken on the previous album, which was described as "a reworking of techno with ambient material.
