The 2023 Maddalena Rose is primarily comprised using the Grenache varietal, grown in our Stefano Vineyard in the renowned El Pomar AVA in Paso Robles. Smaller amounts of Syrah and Graciano from our Maddalena and Stefano Vineyards respectively round out the blend. In order to preserve freshness and imbue the wine with a lovely, light pink color, we remove the juice from the skins quickly. After fermentation, the wine rested in stainless steel tanks for several months prior to bottling. The 2023 Maddalena Rose hits the nose with hints of fresh strawberry, watermelon, and yellow peach, graced with accents of scented rose. This fresh, well-balanced wine is bright with acidity and zest, fruity but pleasantly dry, with a nice spicy finish.
