- Wine Advocate: 2015 le Dragon de Quintus reveals a medium to deep garnet color with notes of crushed black currants, black cherries and mulberries plus touches of garrigue, dried herbs and rose hips. Medium to full-bodied with loads of juicy black fruit and earthy layers supported by ripe, grainy tannins and a lively backbone, it finishes with great persistence.

Formerly named Chteau Tertre Daugay, a Classified Growth of Saint-milion, it is the property of Quintus SAS, a subsidiary of Domaine Clarence Dillon SAS.The property is located on a high promontory which is the end of the plateau of Saint-Emilion. The terroir includes various slopes, soils and orientation. It is planted with merlot and cabernet-franc.Since the purchase of the estate, Domaine Clarence Dillon implemented some improvements: sorting of the grapes during the harvest, in-depth research for a new style of wine during the blending process.
